2021 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
Okay, it is December 9th, two months after the Balloon Fiesta and I still haven’t published this blog post yet. I’ll keep this short.
Basically, I worked as crew for most of the Fiesta, and photography was sidelined. I really enjoy the money that I earned this year but, I may have to go all-in on media next year. Perhaps I may try to join the media team; maybe I’ll foot the cost of everything and be independent. Who knows. All I know is that I saw some of the best conditions for photography and there I was a mile and a half away, at a gas station, refueling the chase van.
I met some friends, I crewed for one, I met another for the first time (Hey Michael!), and some others for the second time. And saw many more. Balloon festivals are great for meeting up with those you don’t see often.
Enjoy the photos below. I need to get through the photos that I have made during the Red Rock Balloon Rally, and also prep for the Jingle Bell Rally this upcoming weekend!
